As the host of several important European Union and UN organizations working in the field of training, research and technical assistance, Turin is an ideal location for this international Course.

The International Summer School is organized by the European Training Foundation (ETF), the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI), the Faculty of Law of the University of Torino, the International Training Center of the ILO (ITC-ILO), the University Institute of European Studies (IUSE), and with the financial support of the Compagnia di San Paolo.

The Course is organized in cooperation with the International and European Forum of Migration Research (FIERI).

Programme Objective and Contents:

The Course aims to provide participants with specialized knowledge of the economic, legal and social aspects related to immigration flows within the EU system.

In particular, the programme focuses on:

 EU Migration policies
 EU Legal status and the rights of immigrants
 Civil rights of immigrants
 Expulsion for illegal entry within the EU
 Organized crime and migration
 Trafficking in human beings
 Radicalisation
 EU External relations and human resources development
 Skills development for legal migration
 Integration models
 Second generations in Europe

Faculty

Lessons will be held by international experts, University professors and officials coming from International Organisations and European Institutions.
